Events Attire

Please check the correct attire for the various event types below. More information on correct attire is available on the British Dressage and BSJA websites.

At committee discretion, special rosettes will be awarded at our competitions for those that are particularly well turned out.

Rider

A good fitting showing/ hacking jacket- black, blue or tweed
Beige, white, or /cream jodhpurs breeches
Clean riding boots/jodhpur boots and gaiters or clean suede chaps
Tie or stock
Gloves
Jumping Whip
Riding hat - dark coloured hat silks
Spurs may be used by experience riders only

Horse

Most item of tack and equipment are allowed in show jumping competitions providing that they are correctly fitting

Dressage

Rider

A good fitting showing/hacking jacket - black, blue or tweed.

Schooling Whip
